The rules that keep Pancam safe

Pancam is a place to meet people, not to make them uncomfortable. It is forbidden to:

• Use obscene, abusive or threatening language.
• Insult, mock or behave rudely towards the person you are matched with.
• Make gestures widely regarded as obscene.
• Discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, religion, nationality, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or appearance.
• Threaten, intimidate, blackmail or stalk another participant, on or off the platform.

Pancam is not an adult platform and sexual content is never permitted, regardless of the age or consent of the people involved. It is forbidden to:

• Appear naked, partially naked, or in underwear.
• Expose a bare torso, or any intimate body part.
• Point the camera at any part of the body below the chest, even when clothed.
• Touch intimate body parts, whether clothed or covered by an object.
• Perform, simulate, or propose any sexual act — including proposing "virtual sex".
• Ask another participant to undress or expose any part of their body.
• Use sexually suggestive language, slang, or emoji combinations understood to carry sexual meaning.
• Make gestures, facial actions or camera angles intended to be sexually provocative.
• Advertise, solicit, or arrange commercial sexual services of any kind.

The value of Pancam is genuine face-to-face conversation. It is forbidden to:

• Point the camera at a TV, monitor, phone or any other screen.
• Point the camera at photographs, drawings, printed text or written signs.
• Use webcam emulators, pre-recorded video, deepfakes, virtual avatars or any software that replaces your live stream.
• Hide, cover or replace your face with a mask, image or object — your real face must be visible.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are.
• Let anyone else use Pancam on your device. You are responsible for everything transmitted from your account.

It is forbidden to:

• Display or transmit promotional content of any kind.
• Send links, including links to social profiles, videos or external chats.
• Send the same message in bulk across multiple conversations.
• Ask people to like, follow, subscribe, vote, donate, or visit an external site.
• Promote cryptocurrency, investment schemes, gambling or any financial offer.
• Recruit for, or advertise, any commercial service.

Pancam may only be used by adults who have reached the legal age of majority where they live, and in no case under 18. This is a safety requirement, not a content one:

• Minors may not use Pancam under any circumstances — including with the consent, supervision or presence of a parent or guardian.
• We confirm age at first visit and again at signup, and we record that confirmation.
• If you believe you have been matched with a minor, end the chat and report it immediately. Do not continue the conversation.
• Any account we believe belongs to a minor is terminated and its identifiers blocked from re-registration.
• Content that sexualises a minor in any form is reported to NCMEC and to law enforcement. See our zero-tolerance CSAE policy in the Terms of Service.

Moderation only works when the community participates:

• You can report any participant directly from the chat screen, with a category and a reason.
• Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Reports involving child safety, non-consensual imagery or threats of harm are escalated immediately.
• Accounts that accumulate multiple credible reports in a short window are automatically restricted pending review.
• Outcomes range from a warning to a permanent ban, depending on severity, history and applicable law.
• If someone breaks the rules, report them — do not respond in kind. Retaliating makes you a violator too.
• Filing deliberately false or malicious reports is itself a violation.

It is forbidden to:

• Use bots, scripts, plugins or automation to modify how Pancam behaves.
• Attempt to bypass a ban, a filter, or any moderation system.
• Probe, scan or test the security of our infrastructure.
• Record, screenshot or redistribute another participant's video, audio or messages without their consent.
